Class 125 threaded flanges connect to low-pressure (100-299) pipe. Threaded flanges, also called screwed flanges, include threads inside the flange bore that connect to the external threads on a pipe without welding. These flanges typically have a raised, flat, or RTJ (ring-type joint) face.

These EPDM full-face gaskets have two molded concentric inner rings that increase the gasket's radial strength so that fittings require less torque when tightening. Full-face gaskets cover the entire surface area of the flange and include holes to insert flange bolts and ease alignment. The gasket extends to the outside diameter of the flange which prevents dirt and contaminants from entering the joint. These gaskets are typically used with flat-face (FF) flange fittings so that the mating flange components fit flush against the gasket. Full-face gaskets require the joint to be disassembled to install.

Class 125 slip-on aluminum flanges connect with low-pressure (100-299 psi) pipe. Slip-on flanges, typically with raised or flat faces, slip over pipe. These flanges are manufactured with an inside diameter slightly bigger than the pipe's outside diameter. The pipe slides through the flange and is welded on both sides.
