Straight pipe threaded plug gauges are used to check straight pipe threads like NPSM, NPSF, and BSPP travel types. Assemblies with one- or two-gauge members with a handle or an individual Go or No-Go gauge member are available.

These adjustable snap gauges have a C-shaped frame with two adjustable measuring faces on one side of the C and a single flat anvil on the other side of the C. These gauges are used to provide Go/No-Go test: the measuring face is adjusted and if the workpiece does not fit into the gap between the C, it is a No-Go and needs to be reworked.
