Produk Indexable Turning Set Berkualitas

Tipe C (Rhombic 80°):

Diwakili oleh kode CNMG (seperti Sandvik Insert CNMG atau WIDIA CNMG). Ini adalah bentuk paling serbaguna di industri. Sudut 80 derajat memberikan kekuatan sudut yang sangat baik untuk proses roughing (kasar) maupun finishing ringan pada diameter luar dan dalam.


Tipe T (Triangular 60°):

Diwakili oleh kode TNMG atau TPCH (seperti Sandvik Insert TNMG-MF atau Sumitomo Triangle). Memiliki tiga sisi potong (atau enam jika tipe negatif). Bentuk ini lebih mampu menjangkau profil siku 90 derajat namun memiliki kekuatan sudut yang sedikit di bawah tipe C.


Tipe D & V (Rhombic 55° & 35°):

Digunakan untuk proses pembuatan profil rumit (profiling) atau undercut yang tidak bisa dijangkau tipe C. Konsekuensinya, sudut yang lancip lebih rentan patah jika beban makan terlalu berat.


Tipe R (Round/Bulat):

Seperti KENNAMETAL Screw-On Insert RCMT. Insert bulat memiliki kekuatan tepi paling tinggi karena gaya potong disebar ke radius yang luas. Sangat ideal untuk memotong material keras (Hard Turning) atau logam paduan tahan panas (Superalloy).


Peran Chipbreaker

Roughing (Kasar):

Alur lebar dan terbuka untuk mengakomodasi laju pemakanan (feed rate) tinggi tanpa penyumbatan tatal.


Finishing (Halus):

Alur sempit dengan sudut tajam untuk mengarahkan tatal tipis menjauh dari permukaan benda kerja agar tidak menggores hasil akhir (seperti kode "MF" pada Sandvik TNMG-MF yang berarti Medium Finishing).


Penggunaan Insert Khusus: Grooving dan Threading

Grooving (Pembuatan Alur):

Seperti KENNAMETAL Top Notch Groove. Insert ini dipasang vertikal untuk menusuk benda kerja. Desain "Top Notch" memberikan cengkeraman rigid agar insert tidak terlepas saat gaya tarik mundur (retraction).


Threading (Ulir):

Seperti SECO Turning Insert for Thread Cutting. Memiliki profil segitiga presisi (biasanya 60° untuk Metrik/UN) yang mencetak bentuk ulir pada poros.
