Pengatur kecepatan adalah perangkat yang dapat mengubah kecepatan bukaan dan tutupan katup silinder, yang membuka dan menutup ketika piston di dalam silinder bergerak ke kiri dan ke kanan dengan tekanan udara. Perangkat ini terhubung ke pipa udara yang sesuai dengan arah bukaan dan tutupan katup, juga kecepatan katup dapat berubah dengan menambah atau mengurangi jumlah udara untuk setiap operasi.
