Pengatur kecepatan adalah perangkat yang dapat mengubah kecepatan bukaan dan tutupan katup silinder, yang membuka dan menutup ketika piston di dalam silinder bergerak ke kiri dan ke kanan dengan tekanan udara. Perangkat ini terhubung ke pipa udara yang sesuai dengan arah bukaan dan tutupan katup, juga kecepatan katup dapat berubah dengan menambah atau mengurangi jumlah udara untuk setiap operasi. Kenop pengaturan adalah tempat menyesuaikan volume udara pada perangkat ini. Tergantung pada jenis peralatan, ada yang dapat menguatkan tombol pengaturan dan yang tidak bisa, jadi perlu diperhatikan saat memilih peralatan. Ada dua jenis pengatur kecepatan, satu yang mengatur jumlah udara yang masuk ke silinder dan yang lain yang menyesuaikan jumlah udara yang keluar dari silinder .Pilih pengatur kecepatan yang sesuai dengan metode operasi katup silinder anda.
