Continental Timing Belt

Hawk Pd series timing belts have curved teeth with an indention in the center of each tooth that ensures that teeth mesh with the grooves on the pulley. This design prevents ratcheting, or tooth jumping, and distributes the load evenly, reducing stress on the belt. The compounded rubber construction withstands flex fatigue, has high heat tolerance, and resists abrasion, oils, coolants, and ozone exposure. These Hawk Pd series belts are designed for high capacity applications and can be used on curved- or rounded-tooth pulleys with a compatible width and pitch. They can replace HTD, RPP, GT, and GT2 profile belts and are often used in conveying applications.
