Description
These thermostat controls are field-selectable for communication with BACnet MS/TP (Building Automation and Control Networks Master Slave/Token Passing) or BACnet IP (Building Automation and Control Networks Internet Protocol) systems that communicate with multiple devices across building automation systems. Users can select which protocol to use in the field. IP protocols are faster and more reliable than BACnet MS/TP systems and easier to troubleshoot. These thermostat controls are compatible with both protocols, simplifying upgrades between systems without changing hardware. They can also be used for standalone, noncommunicating applications. These thermostat controls provide remote monitoring and programmable temperature control for common HVAC equipment in commercial buildings.
