Super Engine Oil Additive
The oil additives, which are perhaps the most important yet least understood constituents of most modern engine oils, fall into one of two main categories. One category is detergent-type additives containing phosphorus, sulfur, and chlorine derivatives, and the other category contains a number of thickening agents. Omega 909 is unique in that it falls into neither category but utilizes a completely new and advanced chemical formula that is superior to both.
Regular Oil Additives
Today, major oil companies market their motor oils in a variety of forms, but they all fall into one of the above categories. Their marketing departments use fancy-sounding scientific terms to describe what are essentially detergent-type or viscous oil additives.
Although the phosphorus, sulfur and chlorine contained in the additives free the crankcase from carbon deposits and clots due to their detergent properties, as they deteriorate they quickly form highly corrosive elements that eventually attack the metal of the internal engine components, causing premature damage to the pistons, valves and rings.
The second category of engine oil additives is simply the addition of a thicker grade to low-viscosity oil, with the belief that "a little thicker oil in the engine is a good thing." However, there is no scientific evidence to support this unscientific assumption.
OMEGA 909 Super Additive Function
Many better engine oils include three or four types of useful additives. Omega 909 Super Engine Oil contains twenty-two types of additives. The six most important are:
Viscosity Index Improvers: Omega 909 VI (Viscosity Improver) contains balanced synthetic oligomers that have all the advantages of monomer and polymer viscosity improvers without any of their disadvantages. Omega 909 oligomers spread the viscosity capability of the parent engine oil over a wider operating range beyond the original viscosity capability of the parent oil. This improves the cold start protection of the parent oil, preventing thinning of the parent oil as it rises to operating temperature. For the user, this means less initial start wear on cold engine components and better lubrication as the engine reaches its normal operating range.

Superior Additives Mean Superior Working Power
Engine oil is only as good as the materials it's made from. Many engine oils today use low-quality or low-cost additives to ensure their products are competitively priced with other standard engine oils. These low-performance/cheap additives degrade the oil's quality when it's needed for engine operation.
Omega 909 provides engine oil with the high-performance, expensive additives needed to deliver superior engine performance. However, Omega 909's superior quality additives can only function effectively when added to high-quality motor oil. These additives cannot be expected to perform as effectively in lower-quality oil.
How To Use
Omega 909 can be added directly to existing engine oil, although it is better to use it in new or slightly used oil. It should not be included in engine oil that is nearing the end of its service life.
