Description
EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) SAE 20R1 type EC class D1 heater hose can be cut to the desired size to allow users to connect a vehicle's engine to its heater core. This hose is commonly used to carry coolant between the engine and the heater core in heavy-duty trucks, buses, and off-road vehicles. The hose is approved for marine applications. It is made from EPDM, which provides excellent resistance to ozone and high temperatures and good resistance to chemicals. The hose is designed to resist cold water leaks and electrochemical degradation. This EPDM hose meets SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) standard 20R1 for class D1 hose. It is a heavy-duty heater hose that provides low oil resistance and improved service compared to class D2 heater hose.
