Beam diameter: The value of the minimum diameter of the measurement range (actual value), defined as 1 / e (2 13.5%) of the center light intensity. If there is leaked light outside the defined area and the surrounding area of the object has a higher reflectance than the object, it may be detected incorrectly. Also, when detecting workpieces smaller than the beam diameter, correct measurement values may not be obtained.
Resolution: Indicates the fluctuation width (± 3σ) of analog output when connected to ZX2-LDA. (Measured values when ZX2-LDA response time is set to 128 ms and our standard target (diffuse reflection type: white ceramic, regular reflection type: 1 / 4λ flat mirror) is used as the center distance.) It indicates the repeatability when the workpiece is stationary, not the distance accuracy. In a strong electromagnetic field, resolution performance may not be satisfactory.
Linearity: Indicates the error of the displacement output with respect to the ideal straight line when measuring our standard objects. Linearity and measured values may vary depending on the object. FS indicates the entire measurement range. (ZX2-LD50 (L): 20mm)
Temperature characteristics: Values when the sensor head and our standard object are fixed with an aluminum jig. (Measured at the measurement center distance)
