NSW-316 is a stainless steel electrode designed for welding 18/8/Mo stainless steels, AISI 316, 316L, and 317 austenitic stainless steel
Features austenitic and corrosion-resistant weld deposit of low carbon 19% Cr-12% Ni-2.8% Mo, which ensures against intergranular carbide precipitation, good resistance to pitting corrosion, and crevice corrosion by non-oxidizing acids intended applications where service temperatures do not exceed 400ºC
High deposition rate and efficiency
Self-peeling slag
The finished welds exhibit a slightly concave shape with a good cosmetic appearance and requires little to no post weld dressing.
Ideal for both fillet and butt welding applications
