Description
E.977 EXT is a premium, heavy duty, EP Multi-Purpose Lithium grease fortified with polymers, tackiness additives, high viscosity base oils and rust and oxidation inhibitors. E.977 EXT is advanced formulation provides a grease unsurpassed in adhesive and film strength quality. Grease is designed to "stay in place" under the most severe operating conditions to resist water washout and wear from shock loading. E.977 EXT is the grease designed to "stay in place" under the worst operating conditions of water-dirt-mud.
Feature
• Adhesive-tacky grease that "stay in place". • Unexcellent water washout resistance.
• Excellent protections against shock loading wear.
• Extreme pressure protection - Exceeds 60 pounds in Timken OK Load Test.
• Rust and corrosion inhibited to protect metal surfaces.
• Dyed distinctive red color to better detect defective bearing seals.
• Grease "stay in place" - Less frequent regreasing required.
• Oxidation inhibitors permit operations up to 300°F. for extended periods.
Use
• The adhesive and water resistance qualities of this grease make in an ideal chassis lubricant for "off-road" trucks, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, logging equipment and mining equipment. • Also recommended for rock crushers, oil field equipment, off shore drilling equipment and marine deck equipment.
• Recommended for industrial plain bearings and anti-friction bearings operating under shock loads or wet and dirty conditions.
• NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SMALL ANTI-FRICTION BEARINGS OPERATING OVER 5000 RPM.
• Ideal lubricant for "slides and ways" and "fifth wheels".
• NOTE : Tackiness additives used make grease "stay in place" make this grease harder to pump and may require the use of heavy follower plate in air operated grease pumps. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CENTRALIZED DISPENSING SYSTEMS COMMONLY FOUND INDUSTRIAL PLANTS.
