E.971 is chemically formulated to give machine bearings optimum performance under high temperature conditions. For this reason the special blend of high V.I solvent refined paraffin base oil, thickened with a bentonite clay gives.
E.971 the superior advantage over ordinary greases. Not only does this non-soap grease contain microscopic supplements that are impossible to melt giving.
E.971 the stability it needs to perform at 260ºC (500ºF), but it also contains montmorillonite particles which create as essential bond between metal surfaces that will not break down under extreme temperatures.
