* Polycrystalline diamonds have edges (corners) in multiple directions, allowing for polishing in almost all directions. Therefore, when polishing by pressing the sample onto abrasive particles scattered on a polishing cloth, the polished surface will have a clean finish.
* Because the edges (corners) are obtuse, it will not leave deep streaks on soft samples.
* Because a water-soluble wax is used as a carrier for the diamond abrasive grains, the abrasive grains remain on the polishing cloth, and the polishing power is maintained for a long time.
