These disposable slides do not require a cover slip and are suitable for microscopic examination of urine sediment and other various tests.
Because no cover slip is used, the reproducibility and accuracy of the specimen are improved.
The amount of liquid in the gap (70 μm) is kept constant and applied uniformly.
It provides complete protection against contamination.
This eliminates the need to cover the specimen with a cover slip, allowing for proper specimen preparation.
Because it is made of glass, the light transmittance and refractive index are uniform and there is no distortion. Also, because it is highly hydrophilic, air bubbles are less likely to form.
Five samples can be prepared on a single plate, speeding up the specimen preparation process (improving work efficiency).
