Made entirely of PTFE, it prevents leakage or drying when not in use, or when the flow path is closed, by removing the two types of seal rings inside the cap and then inserting the cap and tightening it.
This is an all-fluororesin connector that connects semi-rigid and rigid tubes such as fluororesin tubes with an outer diameter of up to 16 mm, glass tubes, and metal pipes.
The connector body and two included seal rings are made from PTFE, and the cap is made from glass fiber reinforced PTFE.
