FESTO Solenoid valve VUVG series

Festo 5/3 Closed Solenoid Valve, Electric, G 1/4 - VUVG Series - VUVG-L18-P53C-T-G14-1P3 The compact 5/3 closed solenoid valve from Festo controls the flow of compressed air in pneumatic systems. It offers high flow rates from 1000 → 1380 L/min with fast and reliable actuator response. The valve can be used in a variety of applications with operating pressures from 3 → 8 bar. The drawn aluminium alloy housing protects against corrosion and the IP (Ingress Protection) 65 rating makes the unit dustproof and sealed to withstand low pressure water jets from any angle. The seals are made of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) and Hydrogenated NBR (HNBR) which ensures high abrasion resistance, resistance to oils and chemicals and high tensile strength. Electrically actuated for easy control of liquid or gas flow G 1/4 connection port thread size is compatible with industry standard fittings Throttleable exhaust feature allows use as an exhaust port or safety valve Soft seal prevents leakage Plug socket has an IP (Ingress Protection) 40 rating and is sealed against objects larger than 1 mm
