If you're looking for a safe, reliable hand tool that produces powerful torque, this RS chain wrench is an excellent choice.
Features & Benefits Designed and sized for maximum force for the toughest jobs Drop forged CR-MO for steel Ideal solution for oil filters and pipes Applications Chain wrenches are ideal for turning, loosening and tightening large, smooth parts where using traditional tools is difficult.
This makes it ideal for parts such as oil filters and bulky piping.
Chainranches are used as a handy toolbox for mechanics, plumbers, and construction workers who often use them for complex torque applications.
Due to this shape, chain wrenches will damage soft surfaces, so it's important to note that this product may not be the best choice if you want to preserve the finish on certain woods or plastics.
How to use a chain wrench: Wrap the chain around the object to which you want to apply torque, with the chain teeth facing inward toward the object.
Simply ratchet the handle in the desired direction and it will be properly tightened and ready to apply torque.
