Extending tool life with a unique planar grinding method: Conventional outer-circumferential grinding methods, which grind on the "outer circumference" of a conical grinding wheel, have the problem that the radius of the grinding wheel is transferred to the drill bit, reducing the strength of the cutting edge.
In contrast, this machine uses a flat grinding method, which grinds the blade edge on the "flat" surface of the grinding wheel, thereby increasing the strength of the blade edge and extending the tool's lifespan.
