2.4 mm 3.2 mm 4.0 mm 4.8 mm How to change the nose pads To change the nose piece, place the included wrench on the nose and turn counterclockwise to loosen it.
Once loosened, the nose can be removed by continuing to turn it counterclockwise by hand.
Once removed, select the nosepiece you need, place it in the rivet tool and tighten it clockwise with a wrench.
How to Use a Hand Riveter Before installing the rivet, you need to clamp the material tightly and drill a hole using the appropriate size drill bit.
Place the rivet mandrel through the hole, place the nosepiece of the rivet gun over the mandrel, and squeeze the handle.
Pressing the head of the pin into the rivet will cause the ends of the rivet to flare.
Applying pressure to the handle releases the mandrel, leaving a secure, permanent hold.
