This reusable aluminum PPI(R) sampler features four impactors arranged in parallel, enabling precise chest dust sampling at 2 L/min and meeting the ISO 7708/CEN chest standard. Its blue appearance identifies it as a 2 L/min chest model. Substrate, filters, and supports must be purchased separately.
The impaction-type reusable chest model PPI sampler features four impactors arranged in parallel and, when operated at 2 L/min, provides the most precise conformance to the entire ISO 7708/CEN chest standard. The reusable chest PPI sampler is suitable for measuring metalworking fluids (NIOSH Method 5524 and TLV), hard metals containing Co, and tungsten carbide as Co. For sulfuric acid sampling, it is used with a quartz fiber filter as specified in NIOSH Method 7908 or an MCE filter as specified in OSHA ID-113. The user-loaded, pre-oiled impaction substrate effectively captures large particles, ensuring sample integrity.
