This is a glass trap for a glass midget impinger, used for area sampling. It is compatible with both sorbent and non-sorbent applications.
Glass midget impingers capture contaminants into a liquid collection medium by passing a known amount of air through a tube as bubbles. The concentration in the air is determined by analyzing the collected liquid. The impinger can be attached to the side of an air sampling pump or stored in a holster near the operator's breathing area.
