Miyamoto Riken Industry Ekman-Birge sediment sampler

It's easy to use!
This is a sediment sampler commonly used for collecting sediment from shallow areas of the sea, lakes, and rivers, as well as for collecting benthic organisms (small bottom-dwelling organisms).
▼To use, open the semicircular jaws at the bottom of the sediment sampler, secure it with the hooked wire, lower it to the desired position with the rope, and drop the messenger when it reaches the bottom. The impact of the messenger hitting the head of the sediment sampler will release the hook and close the jaws, completing the sediment sample collection. Pull up the sediment sampler with the rope and take out the sample.
How to remove the sample: ▼To remove a small amount, slide open the top lid (with handle) and remove the sample.
▼To dispense the entire contents at once, open the semicircular jaws at the bottom and remove the contents.
