The coated filter consists of two quartz fiber (R-100) filters coated with titanyl sulfate hydrate (TiOSO[4]), pre-loaded and assembled in a 25 mm two-piece clear plastic cassette, and band-treated. It conforms to OSHA Method 1019 for hydrogen peroxide. Furthermore, when used in conjunction with Sorbent Tube Cat. No. 225-193-UC or 225-199-UC, it also conforms to Non-agency Method 57, which allows for simultaneous and separate sampling of hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid.
SKC Coated Filters comply with the test method standards of various institutions and offer a convenient alternative to wet chemical analysis using impingers. As ready-to-use coated filters, they can be used to capture compounds present as aerosols or mist, as well as some high-boiling point vapors.
