The coated filter consists of one glass fiber filter coated with 1-(2-pyridyl)piperazine and one cellulose support pad, pre-loaded into a 37 mm cassette. It is used for sampling diisocyanates and isocyanates (HDI, 2,6-TDI, 2,4-TDI). It complies with ASTM D5836 and D5932 for 2,4-TDI and 2,6-TDI, and is also suitable for sampling 4,4-methylenebis(phenylisocyanate) (MDI).
SKC Coated Filters comply with the test method standards of various institutions and offer a convenient alternative to wet chemical analysis using impingers. As ready-to-use coated filters, they can be used to capture compounds present as aerosols or mist, as well as some high-boiling point vapors.
