SKC (environmental measurement) BioStage Impactor (Standard Single-Stage Bioaerosol Impactor)

The BioStage(R) Standard Single-stage Bioaerosol Impactor is a single-stage bioaerosol impactor compatible with 90 to 100 mm agar plates. A pump capable of handling a flow rate of 28.3 L/min is required for operation.
The SKC BioStage cultureable cascade impactor meets NIOSH requirements and ACGIH recommendations for indoor and outdoor fungal and bacterial sampling. The BioStage consists of an inlet cone, a precisely perforated 400-well impactor stage, and a base that holds standard-sized agar plates. Using a high-flow pump such as the QuickTake(R) 30, it aspirates airborne microorganisms through the pores (jet) and collects them on the agar surface. Tests have confirmed that the BioStage performs comparably to the industry standard Andersen N-6, and it features a SureLock positive seal mechanism that replaces conventional large spring clamps to ensure sample integrity.
