RS PRO Pillow Block Bearing (40mm Bore Diameter) Pillow block bearings, such as this two-bolt model from RS Pro, are also known as plummer blocks.
A special type of bearing housing made from heavy duty cast iron, used to support rotating shafts in industrial equipment such as agricultural and packaging machinery.
The bearing housing has a pedestal mount.
A low-friction solution for light-duty applications, balls within the bearing rolls rotate as the shaft rotates.
This model's shaft and insert have two bolts instead of one, providing improved fixation.
This pillow block bearing has an inner diameter of 40 mm and a mounting hole length of 17 mm.
Part of the high-quality RS PRO range, it's tested to be safe and reliable.
It also complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20: 2014 and BS EN61340-5-1: 2007 for safe levels of electrostatic discharge.
