When this agent is applied directly to old concrete surfaces with a brush or roller, it penetrates into the weak or brittle layers of the concrete, creating a surface to which mortar can easily adhere. After the surface dries, if you apply cement or mortar on top of it, it will form a direct and strong bond, making it possible to repair old concrete surfaces or apply thin coats.
