Zieta Kawat Las 60W Series

An extra high chromium wear facing alloy that produces the ultimate in chromium carbide formations in an austenitic matrix that our wears conventional electrodes in this category. The uniformaly extruded coating and special core wire assures low temperature fusion with a minimum dilution to the base metal. Welds take a high polish and maintain their hardness up to 650°C. Use ZIETA 30 for a base when heavy build-ups are required.

APPLICATIONS:
For use wear resistance and toughness are required on all heavy worn out parts. Typical examples Include: conveyor screws for palm oil and cement, crusher parts, pulverizing rollers, dipper teeth, bucket lips, earth moving equipments and hot rolling dies.

PROCEDURE
Remove all welds and clean surface to be welded and use either AC or DC, reverse polarity. Use short arc gap and deposit a two-layer thickness for optimum results. Cool slowly to prevailing temperature.
