Feature
A special formulation of high carbon chromium with vanadium plus molybdenum made to resist severe abrasion and impact. This special chemistry provides a tough alloy that resists heat and wear, and maintains a high hardness. Can be used up to 3 layers without cracking; lesser coefficient of frictionComposition:
C=3.02, Cr=21.5, Mo=0.82, V=0.78
Use
APPLICATIONS:For overlay on new or worn parts where a high resistance to abrasion and impact are required such as segmented screws, hammer mills, mullers, various types of screws, dipper teeth and sand slides.
PROCEDURE
Remove all cracked welds; grind or gouge out any remaining cracks. Use AC or DC, reverse polarity with a short weave and deposit 3 passes for maximum wear. Relief check will not affect the wear resistance.
