Description
Spears® Spears Manufacturing CPVC reducer couplings connect different-sized pipes with slip-socket ends. Constructed from high-temperature Schedule 80 CPVC Technical Information Spears Manufacturing, they meet ASTM D 1784 and are ideal for corrosive fluids or hot water distribution CPVC CTS Pipe, Fittings & Valve Design & Installation Spears Manufacturing.
Feature
- Material & Durability: Manufactured from industrial-grade CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride), they will not rust, pit, or scale. They can safely handle continuous hot corrosive fluids up to 200°F (93°C)- Connection Type: Typically designed with Socket (Slip x Slip) end connections, meaning the pipes slide directly into the fitting's ends and are secured using CPVC solvent cement.
- Sizes & Ratings: Available in a vast array of size reductions (e.g., 2 × 1 in., 4 × 1 in., or 8 × 6 in.) and pressure configurations, primarily built for heavy-duty Schedule 80 requirements but available in fire protection.
