Baiyun Silicon Sealent (Lem Silikon)

The SMG533 Neutral Silicone Sealant, manufactured by Guangzhou Baiyun Technology Co., Ltd., is a solid, paste-like silicone material available in white, black, gray, or other special colors. It emits a characteristic alcoholic odor and is formulated as a high molecular weight silicone polymer. Its primary chemical composition includes 40 to 60 percent polysiloxane, 40 to 60 percent calcium carbonate, and 1 to 5 percent methyltrimethoxysilane. Designed for industrial use, this sealant completely sinks in water and is not biodegradable, though its high molecular weight structure makes it amenable to recycling.

The sealant exhibits a specific gravity ranging from 1.3 to 1.5 at a temperature of 25°C. It is chemically stable under normal conditions, ensuring that hazardous polymerization will not occur. Users should note that when the product is exposed to water or humid air, it evolves t-butyl alcohol, which necessitates adequate ventilation during application to control exposures. According to its National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) profile, the sealant carries a hazard rating of 1 for both Health and Flammability, and a rating of 0 for Instability and Reactivity.
