SIGMAKOKI Reasonably priced spherical plano-convex lenses, uncoated type, S-SLB series

This product has a surface quality one rank lower than the spherical convex lens (SLB-P). It can be used in optical systems that do not require high surface quality, such as lighting or observation applications. Specifications other than the surface quality are almost the same as the spherical convex lens (SLB-P). We recommend this lens unless it is used for high-precision experiments using lasers. It is a plano-convex lens with little spherical aberration. In addition to uncoated products, we offer three types of lenses with anti-reflection coatings for the visible, near-infrared, and infrared ranges. *Spherical plano-convex lenses have chromatic aberration, and the focal length changes depending on the wavelength. *Plano-convex lenses have a direction in which light can be admitted. *Always allow parallel light to enter from the convex side. *Doing it the other way around increases spherical aberration, causing the focused spot to become larger and the image to appear blurred. *Uncoated products have a transmittance of about 90% due to losses caused by reflections on the front and back surfaces of the lens.
