This is a DMSO-free cell cryopreservation solution containing Saraya's proprietary biosurfactant, Sophoroselipid* (SOFORO). *Sophoroselipid: A glycolipid produced by fermentation that inhibits ice crystal formation. Simply mix with culture medium in a 1:1 ratio to freeze and preserve cells. Cells can be cryopreserved without affecting their properties. Contains no DMSO or animal-derived ingredients. Has low cytotoxicity, and can be cultured without removal after thawing.
