The Personal Environmental Monitor (PEM) is an inertial impaction type personal exposure monitor for PM2.5 sampling, with a 2.5 μm cutoff point at 2 L/min, and is used for particle size sampling of PM2.5 particulate matter in indoor air.
The Personal Environmental Monitor (PEM) is a small, lightweight inertial impaction sampler for measuring PM10 or PM2.5 in indoor air. PM2.5 and PM10 models are available in three flow rate specifications: 2, 4, and 10 L/min. The AirChek(R) XR5000 Sample Pump is recommended for the 2 and 4 L/min PEMs, while the Leland Legacy(R) Sample Pump is recommended for the 10 L/min PEM.
