SKC (environmental measurement) Parallel Particle Impactor (PPI) Impaction Substrate (Pre-oil treated, 200 pieces)

These impact substrates are for use with reusable aluminum Parallel Particle Impactors (PPI(R)s) and consist of 3/8-inch diameter porous plastic discs. They are pre-oil treated and ready to use. They are disposable and for single use only; four impact substrate discs are required for sampling one sample.
The impact-type inhalation model reusable PPI sampler features four impactors arranged in parallel, providing performance that most precisely conforms to the entire ISO 7708/CEN inhalation standard. These aluminum PPI samplers, listed in the OSHA Final Silica Rule, are also suitable for NIOSH inhalation dust measurement methods. A pre-oiled impaction substrate, loaded by the user, effectively captures large particles to ensure sample integrity, while a filter specified by the measurement method collects the sample. The PPI design prevents sample invalidation due to tipping, which often occurs with inhalation cyclones, contributing to time and cost savings. Inhalation model reusable PPI samplers are available in 2, 4, or 8 L/min types depending on the application.
