The Freeze Safe Indicator is a temperature drop detection label that allows you to check at a glance whether the set temperature has deviated. It confirms that the appropriate temperature conditions are being maintained, and since the color change is irreversible, it leaves a record. When the temperature drops below 0°C, the indicator changes from white to red (magenta). It is irreversible, so it provides a permanent record. Ideal for medical product transport and food management. No pre-cooling is required. The color change begins when exposed to temperatures within ±1°C of the reaction temperature.
Applications include life sciences, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, blood products, bio-derived products, medical devices, and food. In vaccine transport, where strict temperature control is required, exposure to temperatures below a threshold is recorded.
*This product may discolor if exposed to temperatures below 0-2°C, so care must be taken during transport and storage in winter. Store away from direct sunlight and at a temperature between 15-25°C.
