This DPM (Diesel Particulate Matter) cassette features a high-precision impactor with gemstone-processed components, a heat-treated binder-free quartz fiber filter, and a tamper-evident seal. It meets the NIOSH Method 5040 specifications.
DPM cassettes can be used in environments where it is necessary to separate submicron particles such as DPM, carbon nanotubes (CNTs), and carbon nanofibers (CNFs) from other inhalable dust, as well as diesel particulate matter. DPM cassettes meet the specifications of NIOSH Method 5040 for elemental carbon analysis of DPM, or NIOSH CIB65 for carbon nanotubes and carbon nanofibers. They can also be used in conjunction with a cyclone to remove larger particles to prevent filter overload.
