Description
Mechanical vibration switches detect vibration using springs and other physical sensing mechanisms. When conditions exceed preset conditions, these sensor switches open or close their contacts. Mechanical switches take longer to install than digital sensors, and select models must be manually reset when triggered. Their mechanical operation makes them immune to electromagnetic interference and is generally more reliable than digital switches.
