Room temperature and humidity sensors mount to vertical surfaces such as walls and pillars and provide a way to monitor the temperature and humidity of the space closest to occupants. This helps ensure occupant comfort and reduces the HVAC system runtime. Some units allow users to adjust the temperature where the sensor requests heating or cooling from the HVAC system.
