This is a highly economical disposable filter unit that integrates a cellulose mixed ester type membrane filter with an acrylic polystyrene housing.
It was developed for general use in filtering aqueous liquids, enabling sterilization and particle removal of small amounts of liquid.
The transparent housing allows for observation of the filter's clogging level. No pigments are added to the housing material.
The inlet side has a female Luer lock and the outlet side has a male Luer slip, making installation easy.
Both pressurized and vacuum filtration methods can be used, with virtually no sample loss.
