This is an expansion board for the "SPRESENSE Main Board," a board computer for IoT that is low power consumption yet equipped with GPS reception and a high-resolution audio codec.
The device is equipped with the CXD5610GF GNSS receiver LSI manufactured by Sony Semiconductor Solutions, which achieves dual-band positioning using the L1 and L5 bands. This enables highly accurate and stable positioning even in harsh environments with reflections from the ground and nearby buildings.
Positioning satellite system: GPS (L1C/A, L5), GLONASS (L1OF), BeiDou (B1I, B1C, B2a), Galileo (E1 CBOC, E5a), QZSS (L1C/A, L1S, L5), SBAS (L1), NavIC (L5))
*This product does not include a GNSS antenna. A separate external antenna is required.
*The connection terminal is U.FL standard, so if you use a GNSS antenna with an SMA connection, you will need to prepare a separate U.FL (male) to SMA (female) conversion cable.
*This product does not have an LNA, so only active antennas can be used; passive antennas cannot be used.
