Description
Terasic's USB Blaster, a configuration data writing tool for Intel FPGAs, is compatible with Intel's USB download cable (formerly known as the USB Blaster). The same circuitry is used in the DE2 board, designed and manufactured by Terasic. The USB download cable connects a computer's USB port to an FPGA mounted on a printed circuit board, sending configuration data from the computer to a standard 10-pin header connected to the FPGA. The USB download cable allows you to repeatedly download configuration data to a system during prototyping, or to program data into a system during manufacturing.
