Description
This breakout board features the Microchip MCP2221, a device that converts USB 2.0 to serial protocol and includes GPIO and I2C interfaces. The GPIO functions as a 10-bit analog input and can also provide a 5-bit D/A output. The board has a 3V regulator and can output 3V from the 4-pin JST SH port for I2C connection. This port is compatible with Stemma QT/Qwiic and can be used with sensors and devices that have a compatible port. The USB connection uses a USB Type-C connector.
