Insulation resistance reacts sensitively to humidity, temperature, and contamination!
This phenomenon is utilized in insulation resistance sensors.
When the insulation resistance falls below 10 to 30 MΩ, the space heater turns on, and when the insulation resistance recovers, it stops.
The humidity sensor compensates for the slow response speed of the insulation resistance sensor at low temperatures, high humidity, and sudden weather changes.
By combining these two sensors, it is possible to monitor and control not only short-term fluctuations in humidity but also long-term insulation properties, including moisture absorption and desorption.
