Description
Smart Gate Drive Optocoupler, Broadcom. Avago Technologies' optically isolated gate drive devices are optimized to drive IGBT/power MOSFET transistors. This highly integrated smart gate drive optocoupler incorporates protection features such as active Miller clamping, undervoltage lockout, fault/UVLO status feedback, and desaturation detection. In addition to these protection features, it also includes a built-in DC-DC controller for floating power supplies. This isolated gate driver optocoupler is ideal for motor control and power conversion applications. This solution protects logic signals by isolating them from high voltages.
