FTDI Chip USB-MPSSE Cable The FTDI Chip 500mm USB-MPSSE Cable features a small internal electronic circuit board using the FTDI FT232H. It is encapsulated in the USB connector at the end of the cable and handles all USB signaling and protocols. This cable allows for quick and easy connection of devices with a 3.3 V dc digital interface to USB. The built-in FT232H device contains a command processor called the Multi-Protocol Synchronous Serial Engine (MPSSE). The purpose of the MPSSE command processor is to efficiently communicate with devices that use synchronous protocols (such as JTAG, SPI, and I2C). The cable is terminated with 10 individual wires with single-pole connectors that can be plugged into male headers.
