This family of infrared photodiodes from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is the BPW 34 series. Available in surface mount (SMD) package or through-hole DIL plastic package with a radiation detection area of 2.65 x 2.65 mm2. The BPW 34 infrared photodiode is designed for applications with wavelength range up to 1100 nm. In addition, it is suitable for applications such as photo interrupters, infrared remote control, in-vehicle sensors, and headsets.
