Schmersal RSS36 non-contact safety switch. The RSS36 electronic safety sensor features unique diagnostics and meets the highest safety requirements, even when wired in series. The sensor also features a new encoding feature for uniformly assigning actuators to sensors. This feature is enabled by built-in RFID technology. RSS36 offers three different encoding types to best deal with tamper-proofing. Versatile mounting features and optional latching features allow for smooth and streamlined integration of separate safety guards. Thermoplastic enclosure Operable even with deviations Dimensions: 27 x 108.2 x 35 mm High repeatability of switching points 2 short-circuit tolerant PNP safety outputs Monitoring of internal cross-shorts, breaks and external voltages on the safety cable up to the control cabinet Optional individual coding of safety sensors and actuators for increased protection against tampering Safety and diagnostic signals can be wired in series LED status display Sensors with connecting cable or sensors integrated in connectors Robust due to materials resistant to the cleaning agents used , provides a degree of protection up to IP69K
