Description
Variable-arc radius gauges measure large arcs or curves using a flexible three-point measurement gauge that bends to fit the measured arc. When all three contact points contact the curve, a lock nut is activated to fix the measurement in place. These gauges can also mark or apply the curve dimensions to another piece, making them effective transfer tools when locked into place. They are commonly used for industrial fabrication, jobsite measurement and inspection, and construction.
